CARE4U2DAY Home

Thank you for viewing our website

CARE4U2DAY is a proudly family-owned, independent home care agency that was founded in 2012 by the Hayes family. They are not part of a corporate group or franchise. Our approach is rooted in hands-on person-centred care, with a strong focus on promoting independence, dignity, and respect for every individual we support.

We offer tailored care services for both young adults and older individuals across Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, and the surrounding areas within a 10-mile radius.

In line with our commitment to expanding quality care, we are planning to open a new branch in 2026, based in Leighton Buzzard. This expansion will extend our coverage from Hemel Hempstead through to Leighton Buzzard, allowing us to support even more individuals across a wider region.

Our Commitment to you

Our Care Charter is a clear and honest guide to what you can expect from CARE4U2DAY. It outlines the standards we uphold, the values we live by, and the range of services we offer to support you or your loved ones.

Whether you're looking for short-term assistance, long-term care, or something in between, our charter helps you understand how we work, what we promise, and how we tailor our support to meet individual needs. It’s designed to give you confidence, clarity, and peace of mind — right from the start.

Homecare Charter

At CARE4U2DAY, we understand that being matched with the right Care Assistant is absolutely critical to the success of any care relationship. It’s not just about skills and experience — it’s about personality, empathy, and the ability to connect on a human level.

We take great care in pairing service users with our Care Assistants whose demeanour, values, and approach align with the individual’s needs and preferences. This thoughtful matching process helps foster trust, comfort, and mutual respect from the very beginning.

Our goal is always to ensure that both the service user and the Care Assistants feel confident and happy in the relationships, allowing a long-term bond to develop. This continuity of care is essential in delivering consistent, high-quality support that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

All of our Care Assistants are fully trained and experienced in supporting individuals with a wide range of needs, including elderly and frail clients, those living with physical disabilities or mobility challenges, individuals requiring palliative care, and those affected by dementia.

Beyond their clinical skills, our Care Assistants bring empathy, compassion, and genuine companionship into the home environment. They understand the importance of emotional support and are committed to building trusting relationships that enhance wellbeing and quality of life.

We understand the importance of feeling comfortable with the people who support you. That’s why we take the time to make sure both you and your Care Assistants are happy with the match. When there’s a good connection, it helps build a strong, lasting relationship — and that’s key to providing consistent, high-quality care.

Before your care package begins, we’ll introduce you to the members of our Care Team who will be looking after you. This way, you’ll always know who’s coming to your home, helping you feel confident, relaxed, and supported from day one.

The Organisation is fully registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and fully insured, giving you peace of mind that you're in safe hands. We offer a variety of flexible care packages designed to suit different needs and lifestyles — whether you're looking for short-term support or ongoing care.

We’re confident that you’ll feel comfortable and supported working with our dedicated team. From your very first interaction, we aim to make the experience reassuring, personal, and tailored just for you.

"CQC was informed,"

We’re proud to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and fully insured, giving you confidence in the care we provide. But what truly sets CARE4U2DAY apart is the feedback we receive from the people we support.

*One service user shared, “The staff are incredibly caring and supportive — I would highly recommend them.” Another remarked, “They really think outside the box. It’s the little things they do that make a big difference.” A family member added, “The carers are fantastic with my dad, but they also go out of their way to help my mum with tasks around the house. They’re so caring.”

We’re genuinely touched by these kind words, and they reflect our team’s dedication to going above and beyond — not just meeting needs, but making people feel truly cared for.

"CQC Inspections,"

During our last CQC inspection, our care plans were praised for being clear, detailed, and written in plain English — covering each service user’s history, preferences, and routines. Staff also highlighted how our experienced management team also works hands-on with the care teams, giving them a deep understanding of daily care delivery.

All staff felt the Registered Manager was open, honest, and transparent, and the service users consistently commented on her wealth of experience and how caring, kind, and thoughtful she is in every situation.

Our office team keeps everyone updated with any changes to daily visits, and the communication across the team — supported by reliable IT systems — ensures smooth, responsive care every day.
